These are a bunch of animations I made for an insect-themed tower defense game earlier this year. They were never used as they decided to go with a different artist.
With regard to the spider's walk animation: I think you should put every pair of legs on the odd number row oppose the direction the even number row of legs is moving.
Example: the second pair of legs would move opposite to the first pair in front and the third pair of legs should move opposite of the second pair of legs (same as the first pair).
This is how real spiders walk in nature.
The centipede and the snail are fine, but everything else looks odd...
any way you could split them up individually? I love the lady bug and the slug. however my mate has a fear of most things beetle (lady bugs being the exception) and therefore can't show her the cuteness without the rhino beetle making he cling to the ceiling
